Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident trying Meritbook Pro. This policy explains when and how you can get a refund.

Free tier

The free tier has no charge, so there is nothing to refund.

Pro subscription — 7-day money-back guarantee

If you subscribe to Meritbook Pro and are not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first charge. No questions asked.

To request a refund, email support@meritbook.net with the subject line "Refund request" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Renewals

After the 7-day window, we do not offer refunds for renewal charges. You can cancel your subscription at any time from account settings — cancellation stops future charges and your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Exceptions

If a charge occurs due to a billing error on our end, we will refund it in full regardless of timing. If the Service experiences significant downtime or a bug prevents you from accessing core features for an extended period, contact us and we will work with you on a fair resolution.

How billing works

Billing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, issues your receipt, and handles applicable taxes. If you have questions about a charge that appears on your statement, Paddle's name or "PADDLE.NET" may appear as the merchant. You can also contact us and we will help sort it out.
